Questions about glycolic peel!?

I have some questions about glycolic acid peels, what level is best? what is the best place to get one done ? is a beauty school type place ok do they do good ones? how many do you need to see results from damaged acne skin with some fine wrinkles ? very dry from the products i used at the moment.... but normally oilyQuestions about glycolic peel!?
There are two grades of glycolic peels, an Aesthetician version and a Medical version. In addition, some Aesthetician's can do medical version if they have physician oversight.

The best is dependent on your conditions. I would not get it done at a beauty school. I have seen great MD's and bad MD's. I have also seen great Aestheticians and bad Aestheticians.

Go to a couple of complimentary consultations and get a professionals opinion. The attached site only lists aestheticians and MD's who are certified and have received positive survey resulsts from previous clients.

Good luck.Questions about glycolic peel!?
i had a few sessions of glycolic peel years ago at a dermatologist. she did that once a week to clear up my skin. i think it's a high percentage of the glycolic acid, because it stings when applied. after 2 days, my face started peeling. the skin crust up and falls. i think i did 4 sessions of it. my acne problem didn't went away though. what a waste of money. it didn't came cheap.
dermatologists should be the only ones performing the glycolic peel. if you want to do it yourself you could get products with glycolic acid. I use one that i bought from a medspa and it works pretty well. the first day there was a lot of irritation and redness, but now i use it every other night after i wash my face. i think the best thing for the acne is benzoyl peroxide scrub with microbeads. they exfoliate the skin. so do that in the morning and apply a collagen serum to your skin. Skinstore.com has some great products but they are expensive. then in the evening wash with a mild cleanser and use a glycolic cell regeneration all over the skin. you will be amazed at the results.

otherwise, i would suggest going to a dermatologist. they are the best people to go to with problems and a beauty school could end up doing more harm than good.
