How does your skin look after you get a glycolic acid peel? Is it red?

My skin looks really, really smooth and I use 40% glycolic acid that I do at home.I do it every other day only leaving it on a minute or two. Some people reactions may differ. I'd do a spot test or if your getting it done at the dermatologist office ask questions before having your peel done. How does your skin look after you get a glycolic acid peel? Is it red?
I have had many acid peels, and it depends on the percent of acid (its weakened), and the time it's on. It definitely is worth it and gets rid of acne. Don't do it if you have any open cuts on your face, because you will get big (ugly) blisters. Your face will be red, but only for about thirty minutes. It goes away really quickly. If you don't have any cuts, you will be fine and acne free. Also, go to a dermatologist to get it done. :)How does your skin look after you get a glycolic acid peel? Is it red?
