Booked myself in for a glycolic peel for the people who have had them a couple questions?

1: How does the skin feel after it?

2: will it help with my acne and open pores?

3: What is the skin shedding like?Booked myself in for a glycolic peel for the people who have had them a couple questions?
Most glycolic peels are fairly superficial, although it depends upon the strength of the acid that is used. As a rule, though, the skin will be a bit tingly, but not really hurt, during and after the procedure, and not last terribly long. You will be a bit red afterwards, and the peeling is not generally bad from this sort of peel. In fact, that's why it's often touted as a ';lunch time peel';. If you really are interested in obtaining some better results, regarding your skin texture and any blotchiness that is present, you might want to look into a Jessner's TCA peel. Your peel will actually have very little success in helping your acne or open your pores, despite what your spa (or whereever you're planning on getting it) has been telling you.Booked myself in for a glycolic peel for the people who have had them a couple questions?
i cant see how getting a full gycolic peel can be a good idea if you currently have acne. its meant to be for post acne to get rid of scarring. i can see it making the acne worse.

Agree with this dude above about not trusting the spa trying to sell you a product. go and see a recomended acne dermatologist
